I really like the newspaper effect for nail art, but I can never leave things simple lol If you look closely you can see spots where it worked really good. This is definitely something I'll be trying again (hopefully with a much better result) I like posting pictures of my art even before it's perfected so that everyone can see that you don't have to be perfect to enjoy nail art. Grab some polish and get painting :) Coming up soon I'll start posting tutorials as requested by a friend. Happy painting :)

Flowers & butterflies.
I love these flowers. Not a fan of how my butterfly turned out lol but that's the great thing about polish, you can just remove it and try again. It takes time to make things perfect so take it slow when you can and practice as often as you can. And even if it's not perfect it doesn't mean it's not beautiful :)

Water marbling
Pretty and creative, this messy nail art is fun and interesting to look at. :) My least favorite part is the clean up. It also takes up quite a bit of time and requires some patients. I definitely like the end result though :)

Elegant glitter manicure
What girl doesn't love glitter? I know for myself I am definitely a fan. I try to use glitter in every one of my designs. Like this one. I love the crazy complicated 'in your face' designs, but sometimes it's better to keep it simple having just one nail stand out :) This works for many occations without being overwhelming :)
Side swipe french manicure with fimo flowers
Simple side swipe french manicure, with dots, and fimo flowers. I like this design because it's pretty and pretty easy to do :)
Blue butterfly and french tip
This isn't the most fantastic design in the world, but i personally love it as this was painted with my left hand. But on the bright side practice makes perfect :)
Lepard print French tip
Created for a friend who loves animal prints. I used gold polish for the tips and background on the ring finger. I placed random sized dots in a brown color up one side (or the whole thing on the ring finger). Outlined those with black paint and added a few small black dots. And finally sealed in the design with a fast drying top coat.

Ladybugs
Ladybug nails. These nails are super cute and easy to create. To prove how easy this is my right hand (I happen to be right handed) You need a small dotting tool (I used a tooth pick), big and med dotting tools, a striping brush red polish, white acrilic paint, black acrilic paint, & your favorite base and top coats. I thought it would look really cute to put mini ladybugs on my ring fingers :)
A bit about me
I'm a big ball of quirky fun :) I am goofy, silly, creative, & random. I love my family & I love to cook them delicious food. I love making them beautiful things. I am also passionate about my nail art :) I change my nails every few day :) I have a beautiful daughter, her name is Arabella. My boyfriend has an adorable son, his name is Bentley :) I love both of them very much. I was born and raised in California, but moved away as soon as I turned 18. I currently live in the beautiful state of Maine.
